She's a hefty girl, but a healthy one. Seriously one of the sweetest cats on the planet. And likes to sit like a human goofball.
Additional Information
Lady Jane was found as a stray with a significant gash on her belly in August 2023, at approximately 1 year old. Though her wound initially looked like an open spay incision, a trip to the emergency vet determined it was not that as the abdominal wall was intact. Instead, it was likely she acquired it somehow in her stray wanderings on something sharp like a piece of metal. After an excellent recovery, she was actually spayed and earned her nickname "Big Mama" because of her sweet nature. She's tolerant of dogs and other cats, though she is a more dominant personality.

She is a long-haired cat, so she does require regularly and consistent brushing to manage her coat. She does do a good job of self-grooming though, including her nether regions, so maintenance on that front is minimal. She will beg you for attention and can't get enough of it, but not so needy that she can't be without you.
