Whew it’s hot and getting hotter! Sprout the growing-like-sprout guineafowl helped supervise water-filling activities while the chickens contemplated pretending to be ducks and take a dip in the pools.
We’re doing all we can in this crazy heat wave to keep the residents safe and comfortable. We ourselves also have to take breaks regularly to ensure we aren’t endangering our own health and safety. Thankfully, spraying each other with the cold hose water helps (sorry, no photographic evidence of that)!
